This tea bowl, crafted in the ancient style of Akahada ware and adorned with Hagi glaze, is a remarkable example of early production. The surface features intricate carvings resembling rice bales, symbolizing a wish for abundant harvests. Its gentle contours exude a soft, inviting aura, making it an ideal choice for serving thin tea. The raised foot, shaped like a masu (measuring box), also carries a sense of prayer and intention. The condition of this piece is excellent.
