A peach-shaped water dropper in white porcelain, decorated with underglaze blue and copper-red, Joseon Dynasty.

This small white-porcelain water dropper is modeled on a peach. Its rounded body bears leaves painted in underglaze blue, and the tip is accented with a green‑tinged copper‑red glaze. A brown glaze, suggesting a branch, is applied along the side, so that blue, green, and brown are quietly reflected against the white porcelain surface.

The reverse bears a small hole, preserving the form of a water dropper used as a writing implement. The peach motif also signifies longevity and good fortune; though modest in size, it conveys the unpretentious simplicity characteristic of the Joseon period and a quietly endearing presence. Overall, the condition is good.

This water dropper is equally appropriate as a small piece for the study or as an addition to a tea-shelf display.
