18-19世紀オランダのひしゃげたガラス瓶です。
出土系のガラス瓶などを一時期熱心に収集していた折に入手した物です。当初は19世紀の生活硝子工芸に魅力を感じていましたが、ある時、地中に捨てられ、長い年月を経て風化した物は、本来の用途を逸脱した何かに変わっていると気づきました。
それ以降、ひしゃげたり、歪んだり、そのようなものに重点を当てて、集め始めました。こうしたものは極めて数が少なく、本品は、その過程で出合ったガラス瓶です。ぐにゃりと曲がり、もともとエラー瓶であった点や、白濁し、うっすらと銀化したマチエールに無視できないものを感じます。オブジェとして、いかがでしょうか。
