木地を彫り込み、竹の網代文を精緻に表した煎茶盆です。表面に細かな網代文が施され、縁は竹を模して彫られ、隅の丸みも美しく仕上げられています。脚部は四つ足が丁寧に刳り出されています。
比較的軽い材が使われており、長い年月を経て落ち着いた褐色に変わっています。表面にはじっとりとした艶があり、網代文の一つひとつが鮮明に残っています。細密な彫りと安定した造りの良さが伝わります。
煎茶道具として雰囲気のある小盆で、茶器を載せると非常によく映えます。状態も良好です。
