This piece is a terracotta oil lamp from ancient Rome. It features a small handle and is crafted in a deep gray hue, characterized by its distinctive almond shape. The upper section is adorned with two openings: one for oil filling and the other for the wick. The body of the lamp is embellished with a relief pattern at its center. Terracotta lamps of a similar style are frequently encountered in museums, suggesting that they were mass-produced during the era of the Roman Empire and the Byzantine Empire. Although there is a crack on the side, the lamp retains its complete form.
