This is a figurine of a female musician holding an instrument and performing. Traces of red and green pigments remain in various areas. In the Tang Dynasty, the capital cities of Chang'an and Luoyang flourished as international hubs due to East-West trade, where music and dance from Iranian Sogdian and other Central Asian cultures became popular. As a result, numerous figurines depicting musical performances were created, offering a glimpse into the vibrant and cosmopolitan court culture of the Tang Dynasty.

The neck has been restored.
