LARGE JAR, foot rim with adhering sand

This is a magnificent large jar, standing at 78 cm tall, adorned with exquisite underglaze painting. The jar features a long neck and a flared rim in the shape of a flower. Its slightly distorted form enhances the display of branches and foliage beautifully. The jar exhibits significant soot accumulation from years of use; however, after a gentle wipe with a damp cloth, the vibrant underglaze decoration depicting mountains, rivers, flora, and fauna was revealed. While the rim shows signs of sand adherence, along with some chips and cracks, the overall form remains intact. There are no leaks, allowing for the joyful arrangement of large branches.
