Tax included.  |  Flat ¥1,000 shipping (Honshu only, large items excluded)

The Longquan kiln flourished during the Song (960–1279 CE) and Yuan (1271–1368 CE) dynasties, located in present-day Longquan City, Zhejiang Province, China. Characterized by its application of a celadon glaze rich in iron oxide over a bisque base and fired at high temperatures, this technique produces a stunning green hue. The kiln primarily produced vessels for daily use, including bowls, plates, jars, and bottles. Variations in glaze thickness and firing temperature result in a diverse array of colors and textures, giving rise to celadon plates with unique expressions.

This particular piece is a celadon plate that exudes a rustic charm with its pale yellow hue. It features a flat, round shape with slightly raised edges and a concave center, designed to gather food or liquid in the middle. The condition of the plate is excellent.
