鎌倉時代の古瀬戸の小壺です。本来口が付くものですが、時代を経る過程で失われ、表面はかせ、灰釉も剥落して静けさの中に佇んでいます。また胴部に、焼成時に破れそうになった部分や、窯傷、そこに釉薬溜まりがあり、非常に魅力的です。野の草花がよく映えます。落としを入れ花生としていかがでしょうか。入蘆花でも度々茶席で楽しませて頂きました。
