Old Echizen large mortar Muromachi period/1336-1573CE

It is a large mortar of old Echizen that has a withered taste like old Shigaraki ware due to its bright soil color and large stones. It has the atmosphere of an old medieval kiln. Part of the lip is missing, giving it a wabi-sabi appearance that invites flowers. It is cool to use this product as a bonsai pot or brazier.
