Ko-Karatsu Kintsugi Plate Edo/1603-1867CE

Karatsu pottery clay has a rough texture with grains of sand mixed in, and when you touch it, you can feel the natural feel of the earth.

This product is a plate from the Yoshimoto kiln in the early Edo period that has been kintsugi. It has an attractive shape with no artificial undulation of the rim and uneven left and right. For the record, the one printed with (Yoshi no Motogama) is glued, but it can be easily washed off.

It is about the size of a small bowl. Please enjoy it with one dish.
It can also be used as a tea boat.
