Artisan's Workbench Object, Edo Period (1603-1867CE)

This is the workbench of a lacquer craftsman. Through repeated layers of lacquer application, it has acquired an unexpected texture and a unique presence. When hung on the wall, it becomes an impressive objet d'art. It can also serve as a platform for displaying lightweight objects. Additionally, although I missed taking a photo this time, placing this item on the floor and placing an old long board on top of it would create a beautiful wooden base. It could even be rolled on the floor to create a boundary or barrier.
