This is a rare 18th century Delftware tea jar with painted floral motifs. It has a neat design with a small lid on a round, softly beveled body. The yogurt-like rich white color typical of Delftware is decorated with floral designs on all four sides. It has a wonderful 18th century oriental atmosphere. It is in very good condition and is a good size for storing your favorite tea leaves.
