Chinese wood tea shelf Qing dynasty/1616-1911CE

$2,928
This style, which is slightly trapezoidal towards the bottom, was seen in China during the Ming and Qing dynasties. The wood has a nice glossy finish from use. There are no noticeable distortions and the condition is perfect. It is also a good size for storing tea utensils. Most shelves of this type are large, but few can be used as tea shelves, so this is another rare feature. The shadows that fall through the openwork create an impressive appearance.
