Koechizen Jar Kamakura-Muromachi/1185-1573CE

In Echizen, from the end of the Kamakura period to the Muromachi period, it is a small but powerful pot with a short sash.
It presents a rich scenery of ash covering and kiln transformation. It is a good size to fit in the alcove of the tea room.
The rustic appearance of Ko-Echizen, which was an old kiln for household wares, attracts attention. Comes with a bamboo tube dropper.
