JAR, Earthenware, Jomon Period(10000–300BCE)

Tax included.  |  Flat ¥1,000 shipping (Honshu only, large items excluded)

This deep bowl from the Jomon period was utilized as a pot for cooking food and as a container for storage.

The piece features an open-mouthed deep bowl with a small cylindrical base. The entire body is adorned with diagonal cord markings. Despite its modest size, it possesses a striking presence.

While there are restorations on the body, it remains in good condition and retains its original form. It would make a splendid addition to any collection.

(A woven hemp cord stand is included.)
