> Inquire about this or a similar itemThis piece is a wavy glass sencha cup with a round lid, designed in the Taisho era. While similar-sized items from the same period include glass confectionery molds, their sharp rims make them unsuitable for use as cups. In contrast, this piece features a gently rounded lip, making it a perfect substitute for a tea cup.
When placed on a tray and carried, the cups gently clink against each other, producing a beautiful sound reminiscent of wind chimes. Enjoy it during special tea ceremonies.
