LONG RECTANGULAR TRAY, Sencha, Early Modern Period(16th–19th centuries)

Tax included.  |  Flat ¥1,000 shipping (Honshu only, large items excluded)

This exceptionally thin Sencha tray features a barely perceptible rise of just 0.9 cm. The underside showcases a pattern formed by alternating carved marks, adding to its allure. The wooden rim exhibits chips and wear accumulated over years of use, yet it has developed a pleasingly rounded shape, exuding a charming presence that resonates with the essence of tea. There are no cracks or distortions present.
