Tang Dynasty, painted female court lady figurine, Tang Dynasty/618-907CE

This is a painted female official figurine from the Tang Dynasty. Because it is an excavated item, the surface paint has peeled off and some of the base material on the top of the head is visible, but it still has an attractive appearance. A previous collector had the figurine sanded down to improve the seating of the bottom when displaying it in the exhibition room, so it is now stable.
