This elegant Kendi jar from the late Ming Dynasty features a distinctive shape. The entire surface is adorned with a rich green glaze, showcasing a body that gracefully expands into an oval form, complemented by a long, straight neck. At the top, the mouth flares outward in a lip-like fashion, while the shoulder is accentuated by a spout resembling a breast. This design is inspired by water vessels used in Southeast Asia and belongs to the category known as "Kendi." A wooden box is included.
