This impressive dancing figure, standing at 49 cm tall, is a remarkable example of gray earthenware with slip and pigments from the Western Han Dynasty (206 BCE – 8 CE). It reflects the vibrant dance culture and spiritual beliefs of ancient China. The figure depicts a female dancer adorned in long-sleeved garments and a tall hat, gracefully raising one hand as she performs her steps. A subtle smile graces her expression.
