OLD LOW STOOL, Yao, Early Modern Period（16th–19th centuries）

This low stool is crafted by the men of the mountain tribes in northern Thailand.
Among the pieces we are presenting, this one features the tallest seat height.

The stool is supported by bamboo legs and has a seat woven from rattan.
It shows signs of significant use, resulting in a beautiful patina.

Its charming presence makes it suitable for use as a flower stand, or it can be incorporated into a tea setting for an added touch of elegance.
