Muromachi period old Tokoname seed jar. It is a good size to fit in the alcove of the tea room, and I have enjoyed it with tea many times.
It has a simple appearance where wild plants grow, and the distortion on the left and right and the texture of the skin stir the imagination of the creator and the life that was there. There is no water leakage, so please enjoy it as a flower vase without removing it.
