Sue ware pot Kofun/250-581CE

¥38,000

Sue ware pot (Kofun period, 3rd-7th centuries). A sueki jar with a short, vertical neck and a body with shoulders.
An ash glaze is applied on top of the whitish high-quality clay, and the contrast between the natural glaze and the ash covering creates the scenery of the vessel.
It looks like a flower.

I filled it with water for about an hour, but there was no water leakage. I think you'll enjoy throwing wild grass.
