下手底で、ふっくらとした円体の胴に短い首が付いた珍しい形状の古瀬戸鉄釉壺です。時代は室町〜江戸頃のものでしょう。鉄釉が全体に回しかけられており、いい景色を呈しています。なかなかに花を呼ぶ佇まいです。落としをいれて花入にいかがでしょう。
