This item consists of three fragments of pottery produced during the Yayoi to Kofun periods. Each piece is believed to be a remnant of utilitarian vessels, showcasing various techniques in pottery shaping and glazing, including distinctive hammering marks and a pale sheen attributed to the inclusion of mica.

  • Fragment A (Remnant of a Cup Stand)

    • This fragment corresponds to the leg section of a cup stand, where hammering marks can be observed on the underside.

  • Fragment B (Remnant of a High Cup Body)

    • This piece represents the body of a high cup, revealing a finely textured clay through its thinly shaped cross-section. The inclusion of mica gives it a delicate shimmer when light is reflected.

  • Fragment C (Remnant of a Cup Stand)

    • The exterior surface of this fragment displays marks from the molding process.
