JAR, Ko-shigaraki lineage / Haji Ware, Kamakura Period(1185–1333CE)
This is a rare Haji ware vessel from the Ko-shigaraki lineage, dating to the Kamakura Period (1185–1333 CE). The jar features a robust, short neck and a distinctive form, with a rich texture resulting from the inclusion of numerous rock fragments within the clay body.
While there are some frayed edges at the mouth, kiln marks, and minor imperfections, the overall condition is commendable, retaining its complete form and exuding an appealing presence. (Accompanied by a wooden box)
