HASŌ is a type of Sue ware crafted during the late Kofun Period, specifically designed as a vessel for pouring sake. It features a bamboo tube inserted into a hole in the body, allowing for the pouring of the beverage. This particular piece dates back to around the 5th century, exemplifying the characteristics of Kofun Period Sue ware. The body is adorned with linear patterns that have been meticulously incised.
