This exceptionally rare vessel shape among Sue ware is believed to have originated from the skin bags of northern nomadic tribes, evolving into a type of pottery inspired by these bags as it passed through China and the Korean Peninsula.
The piece features eight raised bands extending along its body, adorned with intricate incised lines in a mountainous pattern. The stunning ash glaze and natural sheen beautifully envelop the surface, imparting a striking presence.
