JAR, Sue Ware, Kofun Period(250-581CE)

Tax included.  |  Flat ¥1,000 shipping (Honshu only, large items excluded)

This is a Sue ware jar from the Kofun Period (3rd to 7th century). The jar features a short, flared neck and a spherical body, characteristic of Sue ware craftsmanship.
It is adorned with a pale, high-quality clay body covered in ash glaze, creating a striking contrast between the natural glaze and the ash coating, which enhances the visual appeal of the piece.

After filling it with water for about an hour, there were no leaks observed. It is also suitable for displaying wildflowers, adding to its charm.
