This is an earthenware vessel of uncertain provenance, adorned with a crown-shaped decoration. The form of the crown's rim evokes the serrated pottery of Japan as well as the ancient kilns of the Middle East.
While there is a repair on one section of the crown, the vessel otherwise retains its complete shape and is in remarkable condition.
