talc stone pot Heian/794-1185CE

¥265,000

Talc stone pots are pots made of talc for cooking that were produced mainly in Nagasaki Prefecture from the Heian period to the Muromachi period. This item is in the early Heian period style with vertical ears, and you can feel the tremendous charm from the powerful carving and hollowing out of the stone surface. Although it has been used and worn and has holes on the bottom, it is an extremely rare piece that maintains its perfect shape. You can use it as a vase, but you can enjoy it as it is.
