This is a flower vase carved in the shape of a boat. The linear design radiating from the sides to the bottom features a moth-eaten pattern, a rare occurrence that can sometimes be found just beneath the bark of the wood, but to this extent, it is exceptionally uncommon.
The central depression at the top serves as a receptacle for flowers and can be filled with water for use. A branch of camellia was available, and it has been included as a reference photograph.
