A small statuette formed from coarse clay into a compact block, with a tau cross carved in relief on the front and then fired. Remnants of ash and adhering sediment remain, and slight reduction effects from the kiln are visible. It is thought to have been used as a small household devotional object or a portable protective amulet, and is a religious artifact from the Late Roman to Early Byzantine period (4th–7th centuries).
