This white Delftware piece was originally crafted as a pomade jar, showcasing a soft, creamy texture reminiscent of yogurt, which offers a delightful tactile experience. Its nuanced expressions embody a timeless beauty.

This is an 18th-century Delft cup, characterized by its captivating white glaze that shimmers with a lively charm. The cylindrical form, undulating like waves, allows for a play of shadows that enhances its aesthetic appeal. After filling it with water for about an hour, I found no leaks. Its comfortable grip makes it an intriguing choice for a sake cup as well.
